Dear Parents, Guardians, Students and Anderson Community Members:

MontCAS 2012

Anderson School students grades 3-8 will participate in the 2012 Montana Comprehensive Assessment System Phase 2 (MontCAS) on March 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.  This assessment is only a snap shot of what your children know.  However, it does provide the teaching staff at Anderson and the State Office of Public Instruction important data that is used to determine strengths and weaknesses in curriculum and teaching strategies.  Students are always encouraged to do their best.  “SHOW US WHAT YOU KNOW” continues to be our battle cry!  As you know, Anderson students do very well on the MontCAS.  Credit for their success goes to parents and guardians that encourage them to do their best and teachers that have prepared them well by teaching challenging curricula.
