A NOTE ABOUT TICKETS: We now have two ticket purchasing options.
You may buy, in advance, reserved premium seating (with a specific row and seat number), at the school for $6.00. These seats are primarily in the center sections. They can be purchased at school the week prior to the play. You will be able to consult a seating chart and choose your performance perch. Some premium seats may be still available for purchase at the time of the performance, at the door. (No promises).
General Admission (balcony, sides seats, front row and back 3 rows) will be $4.00. You may purchase these at the door, at school, or reserve them over the phone for “will call”. General Admission will be first come, first serve, with doors opening 20 minutes before curtain. This new system allows families to ensure adequate seating without the use of tape, coats or weapons. For those who just want to show up, or reserve over the phone, that option still exists as well. The show remains affordable for a wide audience and the drama program continues to meet its budget.
STAGE SPROUTS” a new program for third grade cast members!
For many reasons, including long hours for younger ones, trends in cast size (70+), focus endurance and parental concerns, we are now offering a more limited opportunity for third graders to participate in the spring musical.
What does this mean?
Stage Sprouts will be cast in one or two group songs, requiring limited rehearsals. They will need to come to only one Saturday rehearsal, for about an hour, and will not be required to stay late on the evenings leading up to the performance. During the production, SPROUTS will require only one costume, arriving with the rest of the cast, doing make up and warm-ups with the group. Throughout most of the performance, third graders will sit in a special part of the audience and then join the cast for curtain call.
STAGE SPROUTS will still get to:
* Be a part of a large production, team and performance community;
* Experience the excitement of backstage before and after the performance;
* Learn important theatre/acting basics;
* Receive vocal training;
* Audition, for experience, if they choose
If you have any questions about our new Stage Sprouts program, please feel free to see, and/or call Ms. Lourie or Mrs. Kinna.
