BEFORE SCHOOL GROUPS
ORCHESTRA: We will start on Thursday, September 8th. Orchestra meets on Thursday mornings 7:10-8:20.
JAZZ BAND: We will start on Monday, September 12th. Jazz Band meets on Monday mornings 7:10-8:20.
Both groups will meet throughout the year with some weeks off during “busy times” (CRT Testing, Drama production week, Thanksgiving, October PIR Conferences).
NO JAZZ BAND OR ORCHESTRA THE FOLLOWING DATES:
October 17-21
November 21-25
January 23-27
February 20-24
CRT Testing Week March 5-9
Play Production Week April 16-20
2-3 additional dates TBA where needed
CONCERTS: We have four evening programs this year: November 7, December 15, April 2 and May 21. BOTH GROUPS will meet before school on those dates for a dress rehearsal in the gym in lieu of the usual day that week.
PARTICIPATION FEES: There will again be a participation fee of $60.00 per student for the year, with a discount is available for families with more than one sibling enrolling in Jazz or Orchestra. Please turn in payments to Betty in the office by Friday, September 16th.
