Please join us Monday, June 6^th for our second annual Anderson End-of-the-School-Year Barbeque Luncheon.  Our kitchen will be preparing a feast to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year and the success of our second year with our own hot lunch, soup and salad bar program.  Please invite any family and friends for this event. The cost for lunch will be $2.70 for children Kindgergarten-4^th grade, $3.00 5^th-8^th grade, $3.25 for adults and will be deducted from your child’s lunch account (we don’t keep money or change in the lunch room.)  Please meet your child(ren) in our gymnasium-lunch room at the following times:

Kindergarten- 11:30
1st grade-11:35
2nd grade-11:40
3rd grade-11:45
4th grade-11:50
5th grade-12:00
6^th grade-12:05
7th grade-12:10
8th grade-12:15

Kindergarten through 4^th grade will have until 12:30 to eat, socialize, play etc. and then go back to their classrooms.  5^th-8^th grades will have until 1:00.
Hopefully the weather will co-operate so we can go outside and eat.  We will have tables set up in the gym for dining regardless of the weather.
I am looking for some parent volunteers to help us set up, serve and/or clean up after lunch.  You will receive a complimentary lunch for helping.  Please let me or your child’s teacher know if this is something you would like to do.

Please join us for our Annual Spring Program featuring all K-8 students on Tuesday, May 24 in the Gymnasium. Younger grades (K-4) will start at 6:30, 5-8 around 7:00.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Community Members:

Congratulations to the Anderson School’s Little Red School House Players for their spectacular performance of The Sound of Music!  Once again, the amount of hard work and personal sacrifice that went into the production was truly amazing. Thank you, Mrs. Kinna and Ms. Lourie, for your leadership and for sharing your love of drama and music with our students. To all of the students that dedicated many weeks of practice, rehearsals and some sleepless nights thinking about the performance, IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!  Thank you for sharing your talents with our community, staff and parents. To all the parents who sewed costumes, designed and built sets, helped your children learn their lines and took care of all the little details: thank you!  The success of the musical truly was a team effort.
