Annual Giving Fund

Several years ago the staff and teachers of Anderson School started a new tradition of giving to those in our community with needs for the holiday season. We started the “Community Holiday Giving Fund” as a way for our school to donate funds to families in need. It has been a success and we would like to continue it this year.

The teachers and staff ask that in lieu of holiday gifts to a specific teacher or staff member, you might consider a donation in the teacher or staff member’s name to the “ Community Holiday Giving Fund.”  Checks or gift certificates (i.e. Wal-mart, Target or local grocery stores) are welcome. Please make your check payable to Anderson School. This is a tax deductible donation. If our donations exceed the needs of our community, we will donate the excess funds to a local non-profit organization, such as the Food Bank.

We respectfully ask that if you have needs, to contact the school office so that we may share the community’s  generosity with you. Please know that we will be discreet and will handle this with respect.

From Mr. Blessum

The First Annual Anderson School Grandparents’ Day was a huge success!  We all enjoyed meeting grandparents and community members from all over the Gallatin Valley and United States.  Many thanks to the Anderson Parent Council for the planning and preparation of this well attended event.  Amanda Fowler and Maia Johnson were the significant APC members that utilized their remarkable organizational and leadership skills.  A special thank you to these ladies for ALL they did.  We are looking forward to next year’s Grandparents’ Day.
